THE JANUARY PLOT TWIST

Your Ambition Deserves
An Operating Plan.

The calendar changes overnight. A well-run practice takes preparation. Before the holiday rush, give your software, education, and everyday systems the attention you give your New Year’s plans.

01 / SOFTWARE

Know What You’re Buying.

Access, total costs, renewal terms, and who answers when something goes sideways.

02 / EDUCATION

Learn Beyond The Login.

A working password is a start. Training, practice, and knowing when to ask for review come next.

03 / OPERATIONS

Give The Work A Home.

Plan secure intake, appointments, client communication, and a repeatable daily routine.

04 / REAL LIFE

The Bills Have A Calendar, Too.

Map your business expenses and capacity before making commitments. Enthusiasm needs a budget.

A LITTLE GEEKY. VERY USEFUL.

Your Next Chapter Starts Here.

Free consultation request · No purchase required

Your time is confirmed only after Cima responds. This form does not create a Zoom meeting or enroll you in a paid program.

BEFORE YOU ASK — YES, WE THOUGHT OF THAT.

A Few Straight Answers.

Do I need to buy software before we talk?

No. The consultation request is free and does not enroll you or commit you to a purchase. Any later offer needs its own confirmed pricing and written terms.

I’m brand new. Is this for me?

Yes. Start with questions about your intended role, required credentials, training, and a realistic preparation plan. Rasheeda can help you choose a starting package and identify your first training steps.

I already prepare taxes. What can we discuss?

Your next stage: software arrangements, office workflows, team education, and the responsibilities behind reseller or service-bureau pathways.

Will this guarantee I’m ready for tax season?

No. Readiness depends on your credentials, training, agreements, and completed setup. We can discuss a plan; a call cannot replace those steps.

Can I compare packages first?

Absolutely. Explore professional pathways ↗. Ask Cima for the written offer and complete costs that apply to your intended role.

CIMA, DECODED

Big Words.
Plain Answers.

You don’t have to know the vocabulary to belong here. Tap a term for a quick explanation, then ask us how it applies to you.

Service bureau

A business relationship that may combine access to tax software with onboarding, training, and support for other tax offices. The exact services, fees, and responsibilities depend on the written agreement. It is not, by itself, an IRS professional credential.

Reseller

A business that offers another company’s software under an authorized sales arrangement. Ask who supplies the software, who provides support, and which fees or restrictions apply.

Onboarding

The steps that get you ready to begin: reviewing your agreement, completing required account information, receiving approved access, and learning the workflow. An inquiry alone does not enroll you.

ERO

Electronic Return Originator: an authorized IRS e-file provider that starts the electronic submission of a tax return. This describes an e-file role, not a promise of tax expertise. Read the IRS definition ↗

PTIN & EFIN

A PTIN identifies an individual paid tax return preparer. An EFIN identifies an approved IRS e-file provider. They serve different purposes; having a PTIN does not itself authorize an office to e-file. Compare them at the IRS ↗

Professional tax software

Tools used to prepare and manage tax returns. Available features, supported returns, licensing, training, and support vary by product and package. Ask for a demonstration and written terms for the specific offer.

A quick guide, not personalized tax advice. Program details are defined in your agreement.
